Inside the new Buick Encore, you have two rows of seats that offer flexible options for passengers and cargo. Up to five passengers can fit inside the Encore, and the second row folds to help you maximize cargo space. You can also equip the new Encore with a power moonroof to provide some fresh air and a view of the sky. The Encore comes standard with 18-inch wheels, LED daytime running lights, and LED-accented taillamps designed to look sporty and improve visibility.
Performance
The new Buick Encore draws its power from a 1.4-liter turbo engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. This four-cylinder engine provides up to 155 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque for a responsive and fuel-efficient ride around Winter Garden. In addition to front-wheel drive, you can equip the Encore with an intelligent all-wheel drive option. The system monitors each of the wheels and can transfer torque to where the SUV needs it to help you maintain traction. The Buick Encore also offers StabiliTrak to automatically adjust the performance when it detects a loss of traction.
Technology
With the Buick Encore, you have the Buick Infotainment System with an integrated 7-inch touchscreen. It comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built-in so that you can easily connect your compatible smartphone. With the Connected Vehicle Plan, you can use the myBuick mobile app to easily lock and unlock the Encore. You can even use your smartphone to start and stop the engine so that it's ready when you step inside. The available Wi-Fi hotspot can support up to seven devices as you travel around Altamonte Springs. Additionally, the Encore uses Buick QuietTuning technology to help provide a quiet interior during your commutes near Apopka.
Safety
The new Encore comes with 10 standard airbags and can have driver-assist features, like the available Forward Collision Alert. It can detect if you're following a vehicle too closely or if a vehicle in front rapidly stops so that you can avoid or reduce the severity of a potential front-end collision. If you don't use your turn signals, the available Lane Departure Warning can alert you when it detects unintentional lane drifting. The available Front and Rear Park Assist feature utilizes sensors to provide distance alerts from nearby objects to avoid low-speed collisions, and it can work with the Rear Vision Camera to easily back into a parking spot. Other features, like the Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, can warn you about vehicles in your blind spots as well when driving around Orlando.
