General Motors made history recently, driving all 20 of our Super Cruise-enabled models in a record-breaking hands-free caravan across the Bay Bridge linking San Francisco and Oakland, the largest of its kind in history.  
The project is part of GM’s effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from our operations by 72% by 2035 and to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040. The assembly plant’s carbon reduction from the project is equivalent to the energy needed to heat 4,900 houses for one year, and the reduced use of natural gas and electricity saves GM $3.5 million annually.

They have already demonstrated the ability to expand cathode capabilities, which is the most expensive battery cell component. This could unlock benefits for both customers and the business.”
GMC is offering the 2025 model year of the all-electric pickup in both an Extended Range version with 390 miles of range, and the available Max Range version with 460 miles of GM-estimated range.
Rarely open to visitors, Milford covers 4,000 acres and features nearly 150 miles of roads for testing GM vehicles. Guests at the event were offered a self-guided tour of the facility, which includes a 2.9-mile racecourse, steep hills, both paved and dirt roads, and a 67-acre swath of blacktop known as Black Lake.
