TRIM LEVELS
The Yukon XL's available in four distinct trims: the SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. The base SLE model hasa dynamic front grille, automatic high beam headlights, and 18-inch aluminum wheel. Upgrade to the SLT to enjoy larger wheels and a hands-free liftgate. If you want great off-roading capabilities, such as skid plates and all-terrain tires, consider the AT4 trim. ENGINE
Enjoy the thrill of a powerful engine thanks to the 5.3-liter V-8 engine that's standard on all trims except the Denali. This engine generates 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque and comes paired with an impressive 10-speed automatic transmission. If you get the Denali or upgrade your AT4, you can get the 6.2-liter V-8 with 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. If you're a diesel fan, you can get a turbocharged 3-liter six-cylinder diesel engine that creates 277 horsepower and produces 460 lb-ft of torque on the SLE, SLT, or Denali. Four-wheel drive (FWD) comes standard on the AT4, but you can add it to any trim.
PERFORMANCE
The 2022 GMC Yukon XL is powerful, fuel-efficient, and fast. This SUV's average MPG varies based on the engine and whether you get a two-wheel-drive (2WD) or FWD, but even the standard 5.3-liter engine gets you an impressive 14 MPG in the city and 20 MPG when cruising along the highway.
