The fully functional GMC HUMMER EV EarthCruiser upfit will make its public debut at Overland Expo Mountain West in Loveland, Colorado and will be on display between Aug. 25-27.

Seven of the world’s leading automakers – General Motors,  BMW Group,  Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz Group, Stellantis NV – are creating a joint venture to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles in North America, by making EV charging more convenient, accessible and reliable.

For the first time, Buick drivers will have the option to experience Super Cruise, the industry’s first true hands-free driver assistance system, compatible on more than 400,000 miles of roads in the U.S. and Canada.

Less than a year after the introduction of the next-generation 2023 Canyon, GMC has raised the bar with the 2024 Canyon. This model takes the capability and connectivity of Canyon to new heights with the introduction of both the Ultifi end-to-end software platform and the first ever Canyon AT4X AEV Edition.

The new Envision is the third of five new vehicles Buick is debuting through 2024, continuing the brand’s momentum that has seen it become the fastest-growing mainstream brand in the U.S., with sales up 76.4% through May 2023. The current Envision is delivering record retail sales over the first half of 2023 and is on track to have its best sales year ever. The updated 2024 model is set to further boost Buick’s portfolio, which is quickly becoming one of the freshest vehicle lineups in the industry.

General Motors announced charitable investments in the communities surrounding its U.S. manufacturing facilities, providing grants to 157 nonprofit organizations totaling $3 million.

GMC announced that it will make the rugged and refined second-generation 3.0L inline-six Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine standard on its extreme off-road Sierra 1500 AT4X trim, allowing customers to go further and explore more in their off-road adventures.

GMC began its electric revolution with the introduction of the GMC HUMMER EV Pickup, the world’s first all-electric supertruck, which is now joined by the GMC HUMMER EV SUV. These two vehicles – each with a distinct personality – build upon GMC’s promise of delivering the premium, capable and precisely crafted vehicles that customers have come to expect from the brand. Today, GMC released new specifications for the 2023 HUMMER EV Pickup and the 2024 GMC HUMMER EV SUV, including the 3X trim for both models of the supertruck.
